“It was a great boost to my confidence. I met several firms who I knew nothing about, made contacts with organizations I have been trying to meet and spent most of the time talking with potential employers. I left knowing that I will get several interviews from this event and I am so happy I went.” – Tim Staples, Shippensburg University
"I was fortunate to be chosen as one of the recipients [of] the wardrobe grant, which will help tremendously. As an intern this summer, I will be required to dress professionally and am in need of formal attire." - Nathan Reese, Shippensburg University
Registration and Day of Fair:
Candidates must be pursuing, or have completed, an associates, bachelors, or graduate degree program at a college or university.
There is a $10 (cash only) charge for students and graduates of any college or university that is NOT a CPEC member school.
All candidates must check-in at the Registration Area on the day of the Fair.
Bring many copies of your resume to the Fair. One copy will be collected at Registration.
You may be able to obtain a registration card and name-tag from your Career Services office prior to the Fair. If you are unable to do so, you will be asked to fill them out when you arrive at the event.
Because the Fair is very busy, only candidates will be allowed into the employer area. It is strongly recommended that guests and children not accompany candidates to the Fair.
If you need reasonable accommodations the day of the 2015 CPEC Job & Internship Fair, please notify Andrea Hoppenjans (419-509-8162; email@example.com) by February 3, 2015. The Central Pennsylvania Employment Consortium will review your accommodation(s) request and assess if a reasonable accommodation can be provided for the Job & Internship Fair. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the CPEC Consortium will be able to provide a reasonable accommodation if contacted after the stated deadline.
