Candidate Testimonials: “It was a great boost to my confidence. I met several firms who I knew nothing about, made contacts with organizations I have been trying to meet and spent most of the time talking with potential employers. I left knowing that I will get several interviews from this event and I am so happy I went.” – Tim Staples, Shippensburg University
"I was fortunate to be chosen as one of the recipients for the wardrobe grant, which will help tremendously. As an intern this summer, I will be required to dress professionally and am in need of formal attire." - Nathan Reese, Shippensburg University
Registration and Day of Fair:
Check with your Career Services office to see if you can get a registration ticket and name-tag prior to the Fair. If not, you will be able to fill them out the day of the event.
All candidates must check in at the Registration Area on the day of the Fair.
Candidates must be pursuing, or have completed, an associates, bachelors, or graduate degree program at a college or university.
If you are enrolled in, or have graduated from, one of the CPEC member colleges or universities, admission is free.
There is a $10 (cash only) charge for students and graduates of any college or university that is NOT a CPEC member school.
Because the Fair is very busy, only candidates will be allowed into the employer area. It is strongly recommended that guests and children should not accompany candidates into the Fair.
Be sure to bring many copies of your resume-one resume will be collected at the Registration Area.
If you need reasonable accommodations the day of the 2014 CPEC Job & Internship Fair, please notify Andrea Hoppenjans (717-215-1305; firstname.lastname@example.org) by February 4, 2014. The Central Pennsylvania Employment Consortium will review your accommodation(s) request and assess if a reasonable accommodation can be provided for the Job & Internship Fair. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that the CPEC Consortium will be able to provide a reasonable accommodation if contacted after the stated deadline.
